Ever since it first appeared as one of the trailers preceeding the Tarantino/Rodriguez Grindhouse two-hander, action thriller Machete has been hotly anticipated.

Co-directed by Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis, Machete stars cult favourite Danny Trejo as an ex-Federale on a revenge rampage against his former boss. Also starring Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal, Michelle Rodriguez, Cheech Marin, Don Johnson, Lindsay Lohan and Tom Savini, there’s no doubt that Machete is going to be one of the winter’s must sees.
