Extra Features
There is lots of stuff to be found on both the DVD and Blu-ray releases, kicking off with a hugely entertaining commentary with Kevin James and producer Todd Garner. There’s also the usual deleted scenes and outtakes, and no less than 10 featurettes looking at various aspects of the movie. Most are fairly slight, but highlights include Mike V vs Mall Cop, which sees a pro skater take on mall security while spray painting, and Not Your Average Mall Cop which looks at the huge amount of on and off screen involvement James had in the film.
The Blu-ray also contains a digital copy of the film to download to your portable device, plus CineChat which allows you to send onscreen messages to friends as you watch the movie together. Ah, isn’t that nice. 3 stars
